Plugins

Plugins add skills, agents, automations, pipelines, tool servers and settings to CuttleCode. Each one declares the permissions it needs, you approve them at install, and the server enforces them.

  • OverviewWhat plugins are, how to turn them on, install, enable and update them, and what v1 does not do yet.
  • Developing with CuttleFrom idea to an installable package: develop, test, pack, install and share a plugin, by hand or with the Plugin Developer agent.
  • TutorialBuild a plugin step by step: scaffold it, load it for development, change it while it runs, and pack it for other people.
  • ManifestThe cuttle-plugin.json reference: contribution points, variables, the package format and its limits, and validation errors.
  • PermissionsEvery permission a plugin can ask for: its tier and scope, what it opens, and what is never grantable.
  • Security modelWhat a plugin can and cannot do, how the sandbox and scoped credentials enforce it, and the risks that remain.
  • Sync and exportHow your plugins follow you to your other devices, and how to export and import a plugin set.
  • PublishingThe plugin index behind Browse: its format, SHA-256 pinning, and hosting your own.
